Essie Mae Pendleton-White, "Miss Essie" of Dover, was born the sixth child to Acie Pendleton and Emma Armstrong Pendleton on Jan. 27, 1928. She outlived all her siblings and departed this earthy life to take her eternal rest on Thursday, Nov. 19, 2009.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 5, at Bennie Smith Funeral Homes, 717 West Division Street, Dover. The viewing will be held two hours prior to service.
Interment will at Sharon Hill Memorial Park, Dover, DE.
