Helen M. Singleton, 96, Silver Lake Blvd., Dover, passed away Monday October 12, 2009 at Silver lake Nursing Center Dover where she was a resided for the last ten months. Prior to that she was at Heritage Assisted Living for five years.
She was born on November 08, 1912 in Dover, DE to the late Charles and Mary
Massey Moor, Sr.
She was a member of Peoples United Church of Christ and the Women's Fellowship group. She retired from Dover Ice & Fuel, and later worked for Dover Laundry and Dry Cleaners. She is preceded in death by one sister, Nellie Hubbard and five brothers, Massey, Charles, Albert, Harry, and Francis Moor.
She is survived by her Nephew and his wife and was her caretaker, William C. and Margaret Moor of Dover, DE. and several nephews and nieces.
Remembrance Services will be held Monday 10/19/2009 1 PM at Trader Funeral Home in Dover, DE Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery Camden, DE
Friends may also call Monday 10/19/2009 12 noon to 1 PM at the Trader Funeral Home in Dover.
