Christine "Ann" Mahaffey, 51, of Magnolia went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 19, 2009 in her home surrounded by family.
She was born December 8, 1957 in Dover, Delaware
Ann was preceded in death by her father Herbert Allen, a daughter Deloris Mahaffey in 1999, a brother Ellsworth Allen and a sister Louise Kurtz.
She is survived by her mother Jean Allen of Dover, daughters Jean Dixon and her husband Christopher of Magnolia, Deanna Foz of Magnolia, a son Michael Mahaffey and his wife Phyllis Heverin, her beloved grandchildren Dustin and Brandon Heverin of Magnolia, Elijah Mahaffey of Smyrna, Christopher and Mia Stanley of Magnolia, Niasia Stanley of Smyrna and Casaandra Johnson of Magnolia, brothers and sisters include Ralph Cahall, Jr. of Smyrna, Tommy and Ruthann Cahall of blackbird, Sharon Moore of Little Heaven, Jean and Willard Brown of Sudlersville, and Francis Allen of Dover, and a host of special nieces and nephews. Her true love and joy came from her seven man's best friends Muffin, Snoopy, Baby, Gizmo, Sassy, Rocky and Princess. She was dearly loved, a woman of God and will be missed.
Services will be 1 pm Thursday, Oct. 22 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
