Stanley E. Lemieux

Stanley E. Lemieux, 87, of Dover died Dec. 27, 2009, at Bay Health Medical, Dover.

Born in Three Rivers, Mich., he was the son of the late Chester and Erna Lemieux.

Mr. Lemieux was a World War II Veteran and had served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He was a Maintenance Supervisor with the Kalamazoo School District and had retired in August 1967.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening, furniture crafting and was a long time Notre Dame Foot Ball fan.

He was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his daughter, Linda Magers, in 2006.

He leaves his wife, Donna Budrow Lemieux of Dover; daughter, Jacqueline L. Kegler of Roanoke, Va.; and son, Dan S. Lemieux and spouse Carol of Clayton; two sisters, Audre Hickey and Nancy Rose and spouse Jerry, all of Florida; four grandchildren; and five great­grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, where services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Sharon Hill Memorial Park in Dover,DE.
