Ralph R. Hughes, 67, of Felton passed away Monday, Sept. 28, 2009 in Milford Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 18, 1942 in Pikeville, Kentucky, son of the late Willie and Nancy (Yates) Hughes.
Ralph served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.
He retired from General Foods where he had worked for 34 years.
Ralph enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking and doing lawn care.
He was a member of the AARP.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 47 years Jacqueline Hughes, a son Gregory Hughes of Dover, five siblings Bill Hughes, Wanda Calhoun, Neva Jean Robinette, Emma Lou Glass and James Hughes, a granddaughter Emily Hughes and a grandson Brandon Hughes.
Services will be 11 am Thursday, Oct. 1, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call one hour earlier. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park.
