Harrington, DE
Ronald L. Hawkins Sr., 61, of Harrington, passed away Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Milford.
He was born on Dec. 1, 1948, in Milford, to the late Charles and Bessie Williams Hawkins.Mr. Hawkins was a welder at DTS Trucking Services.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Silversian.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie Marie Hawkins of Harrington; sons, Ronald Hawkins Jr. of Frederica, and Michael Allan Hawkins Sr. of Felton; brother, Roy Hawkins of Harrington; sisters, Sharon Rash, Gloria Sylvester, Virginia Hughes, Helen Gallo, Joyce Hughes, Geraldine Taylor, and Josephine Hammond, all of Harrington; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Remembrance Services will be 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 26, at Trader Funeral Home, Dover. Burial will be at Sharon Hills/Odd Fellows Cemetery in Camden, DE.
Friends may also call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Friday at the Trader Funeral Home, Dover.
