Jeannette went to be with our Lord on the 14th of February 2010. She was to be 78 on the 15th of February.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her husband, Norman St. Sauveur; her parents, Joseph and Catherine Ware Cassey; her sister, Charlotte Hathaway; and great-granddaughter, Brianna Long.

She is survived by her brother, Joseph Tolan Cassey and his wife Phyllis; her children, Jeannette (Becky) and James Correll of Clayton, Barbara and Robert (Bobby) Thompson of Hartly, Charles (Gene) and Peggy Hartnett of Jesup, Ga., and Catherine (Cathy) and William Smart of Milton; grandchildren and great­grandchildren, William Correll; James and Nicole Correll and their children D.J. and Dakota; Jonathan and Davette Thompson and their children Sydney and Sarabeth Thompson and Shelby Wingo; Melissa and Donald Gebhart and their children Anna, Drew, and Evan; Aaron and Melanie Thompson and their children Nathan and Kayla; Marianne and Brian Stratton and their son Macklin; Hallie and Clara Jo Thompson; Jennifer and Tony Mosley; Beth Ann Hartnett; Clifford and Christine Hartnett and their son John Joshua; Sarah and Brian Stephens and their children Mallory and Jillian; Amy and Newell Manning and their children Faith and Eli; Rebecca and Damion Owens; Michael Martin; Jillian, William, and Kristin Smart; and the children and grandchildren of her second husband, Norman St. Sauveur.

Jeannette was a farm wife for quite a few years before obtaining her GED and took several college classes. She enjoyed sewing and doing crafts. She worked at General Foods, Delaware Housing Authority, Sears, and other jobs during her lifetime. She was a long time member of Capital Grange 18, Dover, and a past member of the Eastern Star and Elks Club in Dover.

Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 19, 2010, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming. Friends and family may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover, DE.
