Thelma B. Guy, 78, of Dover, passed away March 24, 2010, in Westminster Village.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1931, in Montgomery, Ala., daughter of the late Solomon Canada and Rosa Fitzpatrick. Thelma had worked as a sales associate for Hess Apparel.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Guy; and son, Gregory E. Guy; and survived by four daughters, Barbara J. Guy and Betty J. Cohen of Dover, Myra A. Moorehead of Elkridge, Md., and Joyce M. Guy of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers, Ernest J. Boyd of Washington, D.C., and Arthur Lee Badie of New Jersey; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 11 greatgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 1, at the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church, 101 N. Queen St., Dover, where friends may call two hours earlier. Burial will follow at Sharon Hills Memorial Park in Dover, DE.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the church.
