Beverly Ann Freeman, of Holland, PA, died peacefully on April 9, 2010, at Renaissance Gardens in Warminster, PA She was 75.

She was the beloved wife of 54 years to Stanley I. Freeman. Born in Wakefield, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Arnold and Annie Steeves and mother of the late John Freeman.

Beverly was a resident of Dover, DE for 17 years before moving to Holland, PA, in 1981. She was a 1952 graduate of Wakefield High School (Massachusetts) and attended Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School. She worked for many years as a sales associate for Hess Apparel in Dover and for Pomeroy's and Strawbridge & Clothier in Bensalem, Pa. Beverly enjoyed reading, taking long walks, visiting family, attending grandchildren’s sporting & musical events, and playing bridge with friends. She was everyone's favorite cook and had a heart of gold.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children and their spouses, Carol and Reiner Eckenbrecht of Felton, Del., Laurel Bunting of Bishopville, Md., Bill and Debbie Freeman of Roanoke, Va., Bob and Laurie Freeman of Fairport, N.Y., and Nancie Sparich and fiance, Anthony Ciambrello Jr. of Camden-Wyoming, Del. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael Wilson, Dana and Daniel Bunting, Lindsay, Rachel, and Scot Freeman, Nathan and Ellie Freeman, Jacqueline Steele, Tiffany and Merrell McLeod, and Kyle and Erik Schwab; and her great-grandchildren, Dennis Wilson and Christian Steele. Beverly will be missed by her sisters and brothers, Joyce Clancy, Gail and Walter Glasspool, Carol O'Brien, Bob and Diane Steeves, Dick Steeves, and Peter Steeves; and by many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, April 17, at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 South Bradford Street, Dover. Friends and family are welcome to call one hour prior to the service. Internment will be at Sharon Hills Memorial Park in Dover, DE.
