Graveside services for the late Stuart Harvey Flamm, 82, of Dover, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the Sharon Hills Memorial Park, west of Dover.

Mr. Flamm died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at the Pinnacle Rehabilitation and Health Center, Smyrna.

Born July 21, 1927, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late James I. Flamm and Minnie K. Katz Flamm.

Mr. Flamm was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1952 to 1954. After his discharge, he worked as an egg dealer in the Dover area. He also owned a liquor store on Loockerman Street for 10 years. He and his wife also worked as antique dealers for many years in Dover.

He was an avid fisherman and poker player.

Mr. Flamm is survived by his wife of 53 years, Helen Meyers Flamm of Dover; a son and daughter-in-law, Howard Matthew and Adelle Flamm Adele of Dover; a daughter, Marsha Ellen Flamm of Newark; a brother, George Jeffrey Flamm of Beverly, N.J.; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Flamm’s name may be made to the Congregation Beth Sholom, 340 N. Queen St., Dover, DE 19904-3026.
